Diabetic-Friendly Green Detox Drink
Ingredients
- 2 stalks Celery
- ½ Cucumber
- Juice of 1 Lime
- ½ tsp grated Ginger
- 1 tsp Chia Seeds
- 1 cup cold water
- A few leaves Coriander Leaves (optional)
- Pinch of salt or black pepper (optional)
Instructions
- Chop vegetables
Cut celery and cucumber into small pieces. - Blend
Add celery, cucumber, lime juice, ginger, coriander, and water into a blender. - Blend until smooth
Blend for about 30–40 seconds. - Add chia seeds
Stir in chia seeds and let it sit 5 minutes so they expand. - Serve
Drink fresh in the morning or before meals.
Why It’s Good for Diabetes
- Very low sugar → helps control blood glucose
- High fiber (chia + vegetables) → slows sugar absorption
- Anti-inflammatory ingredients like ginger
- Helps hydration and digestion

- Fiber: ~3–4 g
