Cuban Oregano (Indian Borage) Garlic Tea

Great for: cough, cold, sore throat, digestion
Ingredients:
5–6 fresh Cuban oregano leaves
1 clove garlic (crushed)
1½ cups water
Honey (optional)
A squeeze of lemon (optional)
Instructions:
Rinse the leaves well and lightly crush them to release aroma.
Boil the water, then add the leaves and crushed garlic.
Simmer on low heat for 5–7 minutes.
Turn off heat, cover, and let it steep for 5 minutes.
Strain into a cup.
Add honey and lemon if you like.
How to drink:
Warm, once or twice a day.

 Bonus Cooking Idea (Quick!)
Cuban Oregano Butter
Finely chop 2–3 leaves
Mix with soft butter, garlic, and salt
Use on toast, grilled chicken, eggs, or veggies
